Our History

Digital Edge was started as a partnership in 1996 with the intent of providing a completely different kind of computer service, with the emphasis being placed on service.  After an initial startup and a couple of years in which to gain experience and growth, Digital Edge Computers became Digital Edge Incorporated in January 1999.

In 2000 Digital Edge became the logistics partner for Laminar Research.  Laminar research is the developer of the software titled X-plane.  As the logistics partner for X-plane, Digital Edge is responsible for the logistics of all online sales of X-plane sold at www.x-plane.com.  In addition, we are also a provider of some of the best X-plane accessories such as joysticks and full systems.  In 2004, to better serve our customers, Digital Edge expanded to include an online hardware store.  We will continue to strive to serve our customers with quality products, first class service and innovative ideas.
