Want to run X-Plane on three screens?

Here is what you need.

  • One Copy of X-Plane

  • X-System Extreme (above)

  • Upgrade the video card to the ATI 5870 with the Displayport adapter

  • Get three 23-24 Inch monitors

We will send you detailed, printed directions with screen shots on how to hook up the three monitors and configure X-Plane for the three displays.

Watch the youtube video of the system in action.

Notes:  The displayport adapter must be "active".  A passive displayport adapter will not work.  This is due to the way the ATI card is designed.  An "active" displayport adapter costs about 5 times more than a regular one.  So, these are about $100, instead of $20.  The three monitors ideally should be the exact same make and model with the same native resolution.  We suggest 23 or 24 inch monitors with a native resolution of 1920X1080.  The monitors should also come with a DVI and an analog VGA connection (this is pretty standard)
